A little off the “knitting” topic, however my work made this video to promote more meetings & conventions to come to Indianapolis and I’m pretty proud so had to share!
For those that don’t know, Indianapolis is the proud host city for Super Bowl XLVI, kicking off February 5. As part of hosting this epic game, the Indianapolis Convention & Visitors Association along with several of our downtown hotel properties decided to remake the 1985 Bears Super Bowl Shuffle, Indy-style.
Do you think I would get strange looks if I knitted one of these for my baby and took he or she to go…say…grocery shopping?

I know my posts have been a little few & far inbetween lately - and definitely not personal at all (i.e. “let’s see how many photos from pinterest and etsy I can find that have to do about knitting”).
But BIG NEWS can now be shared….the hubs and I are expecting our first child - yay!
So in other words:
Praying to the porcelain Gods + 100 degree heat = not an amble situation to get my knit on.
Also, I started a baby blog. I know my followers on here more or less follow me because they love knitting and so I don’t want to combine knitting & baby…unless i’m knitting an item for baby - which obviously will happen. I mean he/she is going to be born in February. The little tyke is going to need at least 15 hats, 5 pairs of booties, some diaper covers, several leg warmers and a snuggie in order to beat the cold.
Also, I have a friend..well many friends…but one in particular that wrote something great - something outstanding about my news and if anything, I think you should take the time to read. Not because it’s about me, but because of her passion for the written word. Even if she isn’t bearing any children right now (which, I would totally be ok with, out-of-wedlock and all) she is still going places and doing things and deserves some attention. Love you B!
